Newtown – Restoration, extension and second Storey Addition. Build by SGD Builders and Architecture by Joanna Robinski Architect

Built over 100 years old as a retail shop. We had the pleasure of transforming this run down semi-attached terrace and bringing her back to life by completing a full internal restoration and adding a second storey extension. The internal renovation included removal of walls to open up and create a flow effect to this narrow home, restoring the concrete polished floors, installing new timber flooring to match existing, addressing major moisture issues on most walls common to the area. added new stairs, joinery including kitchen and bathrooms and a stunning decking flowing through to the courtyard. 

Retaining her period façade she is now a modern version of herself with a stunning modern practicality for her owners to enjoy for many more years to come.
